Dr. Lidia Tekle

About Me

Dr. Lidia Tekle is a dedicated dentist proudly serving the Virginia Area. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Howard University and went on to complete a rigorous residency in general practice at Tufts University, where she further refined her skills and commitment to comprehensive patient care.

Dr. Tekle is passionate about providing exceptional dental care, a passion that developed early in her life. She has been in practice since 2008 working as an associate dentist until 2015. In 2016, she opened Agape dental studio, which means unconditional love, a dental practice that allows her to share her core values which are love, care, educate, and thrive. Dr. Tekle continues to take continuing education yearly to stay current with the latest advancements in dental medicine to better serve her patients

In addition to being a compassionate dentist, she is also a John Maxwell leadership certified mentor, speaker, teacher and life coach. This combined skill of high quality oral care and counselling benefits her patients to receive and ensure that they achieve the highest level of oral health. Dr. Tekle also educates her team and her patients that providing good quality dental care is holistic and must include educating patients on nutrition, optimal home care instruction, priorities in dental treatment and the effects of poor oral health in association with diabetes, heart disease, oral cancer, and on the whole body.

During consultations, Dr. Tekle takes the time to thoroughly explain each patient’s condition and outline clear, personalized treatment plans. She believes in listening carefully and partnering with her patients to achieve and maintain lifelong oral health.
