At Agape Dental Studio, your comfort and experience are our top priorities. We want you to feel informed and at ease from the moment you schedule your first dental appointment with Dr. Lidia Tekle. Whether you’re new to our office or returning after some time, we’re here to guide you through every step of your care.

What happens during your first appointment?

During your initial visit, Dr. Lidia Tekle and our friendly team will complete a thorough oral examination to get a clear picture of your dental health. This includes:

  • A visual inspection of your teeth, gums, and entire mouth to check for any signs of decay or other issues.
  • A periodontal evaluation to assess the health of your gums and detect any signs of gum disease (periodontal disease).
  • Digital X-rays, if needed, to identify tooth decay, bone loss, infections, or other concerns that aren’t visible to the naked eye.
  • An oral cancer screening to check for abnormalities in your oral tissues, allowing us to catch any concerns early when they’re easiest to treat.
  • A bite analysis (occlusion check) to look for problems in how your teeth come together.

Once your exam is complete, Dr. Lidia Tekle will review the findings with you, explain the current state of your oral health, and discuss any treatments that may be needed. We’ll go over all your options and answer your questions so you can make confident, informed decisions about your dental care.
